Organic SEO is the way to go. Rob was a Chef for a great number of years, so here’s some food for thought:
Your Website should be and must be mobile friendly. If not, it means two things:
No.1: Your rankings are been effected for certain.
Note: Google announced that on April 21st 2015 or thereafter, sites that were NOT mobile friendly would experience a SIGNIFICANT impact on their rankings.
Mobile search has overtaken Desktop search. 73% of consumers access websites on their mobile devices. But only 20% of companies have a mobile optimized site!
No.2: You are potentially leaving money on the table.
Paid advertising is a simple way to get started when it comes to marketing your website and local business as it provides immediateand increased traffic and recognition. It’s designed to get the content on your website ranked as high as possible in Google for certain, specific terms.
Why you need organic SEO:
We would like to share with you some VERY interesting FACTS that GOOGLE THEMSELVES released about Adwords versus Organic SEO.
Google Adwords (PPC) Versus Organic SEO
All of the Adwords ads on average only get anywhere from 10-15% of the total clicks for any page.
Example: Let’s just say that a certain search term gets a 1000 clicks per month. So let’s just say that 1000 people per month type in that certain search term per month in to google.
What that means is out of those 1000 people, typically only about 100 of them will click on the ad.
So 100% of the people who are paying for adwords have to split the 10% that’s available for the page.
So if you’re relying only on adwords, then if that 1000 search per month, as one of the advertisers, you may only get 10-12 leads per month.
Again: If 1000 people per month search for a term. All of the people advertising on google adwords will share on average about 100 of those leads.
Even if you would put $1 million per month in your own adwords account, the most you can buy from adwords for that particular keyword/search term is roughly 10%.
NOW, on the flip side, the No.1 ORGANIC listing (SEO) is going to get more than 40%.
So using the above example, if only 1000 people search for a certain term per month, that means the guy on #1 is going to get about 400 of those leads on average!
400 of those leads VERSUS the adwords advertiser (even the #1), is only going to get 10-12% on average.
Conclusion: There is NO comparison between adwords and organic SEO. Organic SEO wins every time.
Make that Decision
The next part isn’t always easy, you must look in and reflect, often facing emotions you haven’t faced in a while. Choosing online marketing of any sort can be scary especially if you’re unsure on who to trust.
Ask yourself this question: How much can I NOT afford to get my business the visibility it needs.
Higher Rankings = Higher Visibility
Higher Visibility = More Traffic
More Traffic = More Conversions
More Conversions = More Revenue
It’s that simple!
